Taylor Frank - Age 14

Taylor is 18 years old and is a senior. This is Taylor's 11th year to homeschool and once again, according to Sunnie, he's the smartest boy in his class! Taylor loves sports and enjoys playing basektball, golf, tennis, and skiing. He plays for the Huntington Homeschool Eagles and, at nearly 6'4", has started four seasons on the varsity team. He has a very fun loving, outgoing personality and is a leader in his youth group. Taylor has a love for the Bible and a God-given ability to memorize scripture. His newest endeavor is playing the guitar. He is very happy about our adoption and readily admits that it didn't take long for his new little sisters to have him wrapped around their little fingers! Taylor will be attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago next year.

Trinity Frank - Age 12
Trinity is 16 years old and is in the tenth grade. This is her ninth year to homeschool. Trinity has played the piano for nine years and is getting quite good. She enjoys her involvement at church and in the youth group. Her real passion, though, is missions. She always looks forward to our church's annual mission conference and enjoys spending time with missionaries from all over the world whenever she has the opportunity. Her dream is to be a missionary in India. Trinity has a very meek and quiet spirit and a servant's heart. She has prayed for a sister since she was 5 years old. God sought to answer her prayers with a double blessing - two sisters!“ Trinity recently traveled to Vietnam to assist some friends of ours who adopted two little ones. She loved her first overseas experience!
Trey Frank - Age 10
Trey is 14 years old and is in the eighth grade. This is his seventh year of homeschooling and he continues to amaze us with his intelligence. Trey loves sports! He plays basketball for the Huntington Homeschool Eagles. He also enjoys snowskiing and reading. Trey is a very thoughtful, quiet boy. He loves reading and is our most artistic child. Trey loves nature and studying plants and trees! He's always the first one to help mom in her flower gardens. He was always very excited about our adoption and enjoys having two new sisters!
Tyce Frank - Age 6
Tyce is 10 years old and is in the fourth grade. This is his fourth year to homeschool. He's doing great and he loves to read--every teacher's dream! Tyce, like his older brothers, also loves sports. His favorite sport is whatever sport is currently in season! He is definitely all boy - very competitive, and incredibly full of energy. Tyce has a super tender heart and burden for lost souls. There is nothing more precious than listening to him pray. He adds so much joy to our home. He loves being a big brother and takes it quite seriously. He prays for his new sisters often.

Tyce has quite a sense of humor. During our home study process, he was asked during his private interview the routine question, "Have you ever been arrested?" Just as serious as he could be he said, "Just once." When asked what for, he replied, "Speeding!"

Pete & Sunnie
Sunnie enjoys staying at home with her children. Homeschooling her children provides numerous benefits, one of which is that it provides her with the opportunity to spend quality time with them on a daily basis. A few of Sunnie's favorite family activities are riding bikes, going on walks, and snow-skiing together. Sunnie really likes to cook and bake, along with hosting get-togethers with family and friends.

Sunnie is a licensed beautician and, for 19 years, has worked a few hours a week in the beauty salon at her home. Her beauty shop is a great opportunity for her to minister to people and witness for the Lord. Sunnie has a passion for mentoring young mothers and a great desire to make a difference in the lives of the teenagers in the church's youth group.

Pete graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1988, and proceeded to work in the business field, managing his father's car rental business in Marion, Indiana, for the next ten years. From there the Lord called Pete into the ministry to work at Life Action Ministries in Niles, Michigan. Then in 1999, Pete and his family were called back to Grant County to join the Pastoral staff at Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser, Indiana. In June of 2007 God opened the door for Pete to begin serving with Gospelink Ministries, a church planting ministry working in 3rd world countries through national preachers. It is a joy for Pete to be full-time in missions work through Gospelink and to be involved first-hand in work on the overseas field. Additionally, one of the favorite parts of his job is speaking in churches in the States to mobilize Christians to be involved in missions.

Pete has a real burden to see teenagers walk with the Lord in the midst of today's culture. He also has a passion for families and for cross-cultural missions. One of Pete's favorite ministries at Liberty is teaching God's Word. His hobbies include spending time with his wife and children and playing and watching sports. A few of his favorites are basketball, ping pong, and snow-skiing.

Pete and Sunnie met while attending Indiana Wesleyan University. Pete was on the basketball team, and Sunnie was a cheerleader. They were married on June 4, 1988, just a few months after they first met. They love their six children very much, and rejoice that the Lord allowed them in on the wonderful experience of adoption!
They hope their story will be an inspiration to many others.
